Wait, WHAT!? An Illustration Finally?

Either some of you have waited for me to post another drawing, or have been waiting for more videos. Some of you maybe haven't been anticipating either, but just passing by this blog. Well I thought I would treat my frequent readers to yet another drawing, since the last one I did was posted almost a month ago! So here you go!
If you saw/watched the post previous to this one, I'm sure you can understand where I got my inspiration from. If you watched/saw my post and had no idea wtf it was about I'm sure you're just as confused. Basically this is a little drawing (I would like to say doodle, but it took me all day to perfect this beaut) is of one of my all time favorite characters/actors/british man. Matt Smith the talented 29 English actor is the "main character" of this illustration. Matt plays a very iconic role in one of the U.K's national treasures; the show Doctor Who.
I guess you could say that I missed making illustrations and my stylus was getting a little lonely. I also have been recently upset with how people take making art for granted and basically make them meaningless. Being an artist myself; this hurt. So I decided to put a lot of effort and time into this to show myself that art can be made selflessly and that you don't need the approval of others to have a piece of art work that you take pride in. I also drew a subject that not many people (I am associated with know) just to make it all the more special. I wasn't doing this for attention, merely to see what would happen if i spent a multitude of hours just getting my own ideas out on "paper" (or drawing app..ect.). I had been to heavily influenced by other people's suggestions on what or who to draw next. Also I think that having this blog took the fun out of it for me for awhile. Now I might just do an illustration every two weeks, just so that I don't kill the "magic" of illustrating.
I also have been looking into making some of my illustrations posters. I have been really wanting a Dr. Who poster for my newly decorated room for a long time. I found that some printing places could turn my simple jpg's into wonderful pieces of wall art. I thought about how neat it would be to have something having in my room that I did myself, something that you wouldn't see anywhere else. Something that looked legitimate! So basically I drew this based off of how I would picture it on my wall. I really hope that I can get some posters printed off for myself and maybe my close friends who watch the show (or are fans of any of my other illustrations). Until my next illustration, soak it all it. It might me awhile. As for my next video, I have no idea in hell what the subject will be or when I will make/edit/post it. I'm very unorganized with this stuff (which still keeps the fun in it) so please be patient! (:
