I Can Be Your Hero, Baby

Apologies for being MIA on my blog for the past week. I've been hella busy with graduation, graduation parties, and senior pranking. OH! I've also seen The Avengers (finally..) and it was fan-freaking-tastic. I'm actually planning on seeing it again this week since I'm on summer vaca.
So Avengers surprisingly exceeded my expectations! There wasn't a dull moment, and I loved watching all of the handsome men in superhero get-ups..I was just happy that Marvel decided to give Thor some substance. Basically, I've been wanting to do a Loki illustration since I made my first Avengers post. I sort of have an awkward evil-villian crush on Tom Hiddelston's Loki character ever since I saw him in Thor. I feel like Loki is one of my all time favorite superhero villains/characters. I don't think that it helps that Thor was such a dense character in his own movie that I desperately clung to Loki to carry that entire movie (and he didn't disappoint).
I have also been noticing that on Tumblr, there has been an abundance of Loki love. I was sort of fan-girling over him throughout Avengers. I feel like every nerdy girl (such as myself) had a hard time picking which chiseled Avenger man she would want to end up with. For me personally I had a hard time choosing between Chris Evans (Captain America) and Loki. I hate to admit it...but.. during the Cap'n vs. Loki fight scene I basically pretended that they were fighting for my love. I mean hey, a girl can dream right!? Now I will be viciously anticipating the next installment of the Avengers along with this summers most anticipated hero movies including Spider Man and Batman.
