Lady in the streets

        I am proud to say that this will be my first blog post from my brand new Macbook Pro! If you haven't noticed, I haven't been posting very much lately. This is because my "family" laptop took a tumble a few weeks ago, and I've had to use my dad's company computer to update my blog. needless to say, I got sick of having to upload all of my stuff on his computer and already knew that I would be getting my gem of a laptop shortly.
        This illustration was a quick little one I did just because one day I had nothing going on (which is quite rare lately). I've mentioned in the past that I am a very big fan on Tumblr. My blog is a fashion themed blog, I guess you could say, and I'm constantly seeing pictures of street style. This was yet another "practice" drawing and it basically came about because of all of the scrolling I had been doing on tumblr that day. Nothing special. I do have to say that I am rather in love with the background I slapped on this illustration. I google searched "london streets" and found a very beautiful background that I used for this illustration.
        My images have been getting a little more Burton lately, and I love that. I've always been attracted to the lanky figures of Mr. Burton's films and I am always looking for an excuse to make my illustrations a little exaggerated. although this was just a little piece of doodle, I still hope that it has a positive impact. I love all of my illustrations even if they are just simple or don't have a lot of thought behind them!
