I've seemed to become side-tracked and will get to the point of this illustration. One of the two main characters of the BBC show Sherlock is illustrated here in one of my new illustrations. I started creating this piece while having a BBC television show marathon extravaganza with one of my closest friends a few days ago. Benedict Cumberbatch, the actor who plays the notorious Sherlock Holmes in this 20th century rendition, was instantly an inspiration to me. I always see fan art of him on Tumblr and have been dying to illustrate him. His character has to be one of my favorites of all time. It may have to do with his sultry baritone British accent, or maybe his quick witted dry humor that has me drawn to his character. I just cannot wait until the 2nd season comes out on Netflix. This has to be one of my best/favorite drawings I've done up to this point! My friend who watched Sherlock with me agrees!
Now my obsession with British culture doesn't stop at the shows they watch on the "telly", but I also enjoy watching vlogs from famous British Vloggers such as Charlie McDonnell and Alex Day! I also make sure that I keep a close watch on Brittan's fashion seen when they have London Fashion week! Burberry's spring/summer ad campaign was one of my favorite ad campaign's I've ever seen. I think this is biased because it featured freckle-licious British actor Eddie Redmayne..In all I guess you can say my mind has been invaded by the Brits for quite a few months now and I really need to shake this unhealthy obsession with British actors..
